Relacja przygotowana dla strony Nativity

It's been the third day at Nativity which means we're somwhere in the middle of our journey. The kids are getting on really well. It seems that the ice's been finally broken. Every morning I listen to my delegates' stories of what they did the evening before, how they found things different, strange or similar and familiar. I hear my shy, lovely Kaja saying she liked one Ukrainian girl who gave her a little gift and Kaja thought that was the right moment to give a souvenir she brought from Poland ("for someone she'd find nice and friendly). My other delegate that I tend to lose patience with is complimented on his wonderful behaviour by his host mum, who finds him a perfrct visitor, an ideal match for her son...Polish and American girls playing in the garden, teachig English, Polish and Chinese to one another... Isn't it how is's supposed to work, Mr. Herring? Isn't it what you meant, Sister Karen?
If there're obstacles one needs to overcome (like shyness, lack of confidence) there's no better place o face them than in such a supprotive and encouraging environrment.
The field day was great fun. I liked the water ballon toss best and am planning to intriduce it in my school. I haven't known this game before (!) And the parents, teachers and upper grade students involved in the outdoor ativities... Inspiring and amazing. Plus perfect weather and lots of cheering.
Three legged race, long jump and other competitions. Even some brave teachers joined in;)
Would you do it? Would you befriend with complete strangers?  Would you do it in three days? And they did it. Respect for you, the visirors and for those organizing the whole event. Nativity, you produce excellent opportunitirs.

Warm regards.
